The HIES After School Program offers a variety of enriching programming after school for children from Kindergarten to Grade 7 and welcomes our local home-schooled children.

These programs are inspired, created, and facilitated primarily thanks to our community members who offer mentoring and sharing in their unique & diverse skills: including Arts, Sciences, Nature Activities, Sports, Crafts and more!  At least one HIES staff person (sometimes two) is present to oversee these programs and support the instructor/mentor who is leading the activity.

The After School Program runs out of either our Room to Grow building,  or the Ravens Room, which is the multi-use room at the Hornby Island Community School.
